Formerly known as Maghull Maths Centre, tuitionin has branches in Maghull and Crosby.
Now in its 18th year this family–run tuition business is owned and run by husband and wife team, Mark and Karen Wadsworth alongside Kimberley Moore (Maghull Centre Manager) and Jack Wadsworth (Crosby Centre Manager).
Additionally the tuitionin team comprises of over 20 dedicated teachers and support staff.
We have always provided a supportive environment where students can enjoy learning! We are here to encourage, motivate, praise and, in doing so, build confidence and improve ability. Students are encouraged to aim high and reach their full potential. We teach across the ability spectrum and follow the National Curriculum. With fully qualified CRB checked teachers, enthusiastic teaching assistants and admin staff we aim to deliver the highest quality professional tuition service. We have strong links with the local community and schools.
With the increased demands of the new 9-1 curriculum there is no better time to ensure your child has professional support to help them thrive in their studies.
Established in 2000, our approach to Mathematics tuition ensures that students have a strong foundation on which to develop their knowledge. We support them to become more confident with Mathematics enabling them to progress onto the more challenging work.
Our English tuition has been running since 2003 and was initially set-up as a result of our mathematics students doing so well with their maths that many of them requested English tuitionin too!
With an individual work programme for every student we can ensure that each student receives the most effective and highest quality tuition.

Welcome to Fleets Piano Workshop and Music School
Established in 1978, by my Dad (Malcolm) as a side line to his removal company. He also set up a little workshop with 2 technicians the polisher and me.
I’m Des Fleet, and I came to love the renovation /transformation process applied to an old piano producing a beautiful music making instrument. Originally called ‘The Piano shop’ and located in Waterloo, we recently became Fleets Piano Workshop and Music School.
Along with music tuition and a recording space, we usually stock between 15 – 20 uprights and 1 or 2 Grand Pianos.
We offer a full renovation service which includes piano tuning and servicing.
We can do most things piano; from cosmetic cleaning and refinishing to full re-strings and action rebuilds, re-centreing case repairs/polishing.
We offer a complete tuning, regulating and repair service; a single tuning usually costs around £45; best to keep them tuned!
We also stock a variety of new and used instruments from Electric and Acoustic Guitars to Violins and other string and wind instruments; also PA equipment, guitar strings, drums, stands etc.
Give us a call we will try to find what you need.
LATEST! We have recently moved to our brand new premises at:
